The 2012 Sundance Film Festival will be starting in about a week, and one of the more interesting looking films which will be showing is Richard Bates Jr.'s EXCISION. From the information available so far it's looking decidedly bloody and messed up. Below is the official festival one-sheet.
Synopsis: A disturbed and delusional high school student with aspirations of a career in medicine goes to extremes to earn the approval of her controlling mother.
The Sundance Film Festival runs from January 19th through to the 29th in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.
