The Thing Prequel Images

I know these are kind of old news now, but I thought I'd post them for the people who haven't seen them yet. These are the first official images released by Universal of The Thing Prequel.
It will be interesting to see if the film can live up to John Carpenter's brilliant remake. The images certainly look promising in my opinion.

Synopsis: At an Antarctica research site, the discovery of an alien craft leads to a confrontation between graduate student Kate Lloyd and scientist Dr. Sander Halvorson. While Dr. Halvorson keeps 
to his research, Kate partners with Sam Carter, a helicopter pilot, to pursue the alien life form.


The movie is set to be released on October 13th.
